REVIEW: Urban Decay Naked2 Palette

I brought this product on a whim and I am very happy that I did so!

I'm not really a eyeshadow wearing person, and if I did wear eyeshadow I would always stick to neutrals as it is a nice colour match to my skin colour.
If I was being "daring" I would sway towards greys or black (also mostly because they are the colours to use for a smokey eye look) just to stay on the safe side as I don't think bright colours on my eyes suit me, I either feel too dressed up or down right embarrassed!

After watching videos on youtube about the up and coming debut of Urban Decay palette, I decided I would buy it and see what the crazy hoo-hah is all about!

It arrived in a packaging like this, from Debenhams where I brought it from and it didn't take long to be delivered to where I live. A "Complimentary lip" gloss, which isn't bad but I hardly use it and it cost me £36.

Usually when I buy eyeshadows, I buy the really cheap kind, like superdrugs own brand but I was feeling spontaneous so this was a very extravagant buy for me. However, with the cheap brands I am always complaining that they're not very pigmented and don't last very long so with hindsight this is an even better bargain for money!

Names of Shade (from left to right): Foxy, Half baked, Bootycall,
Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol,
Verve, YDK, Busted and Blackout.

I have no experience with Urban Decay, but apparently there are 4 new shades, most of the shades of colours are a shimmery/glittery colour which is not really my cup of tea but is not really a major disadvantage either.

As you can see from the photo, the palette comes with 12 pigmented colours ranging from a creamy shade to a black shade.

For someone like me who only prefers neutrals, this was perfect for me, I could use it for every day and even do my smokey eye! I am absolutely happy with this product and can't find fault with it at all.
My favourite colours in the palette are Snakebite, Busted and Tease, sometimes I use foxy to highlight my brow other than that I love them all.

                                                     Secret Corner Rating: 9/10

I hoped this review has convinced you all to part with your money! Ha Ha

Don't forget to use a primer for your eyes to make sure the eyeshadow doesn't end up by your cheeks!
